🌟 B&B Panel: Digitalisierung und Klimaschutz (DE/EN)
02.10, 15:00–16:30 (Europe/Berlin), ADA
Sprache: Deutsch

In two short inputs, Patsy Islam-Parsons (Fridays for Future) and Bernd Hirschl (IÖW/ BTU) will highlight the urgency of the climate crisis and explain why it is important to think about digitalisation in this context. Afterwards, two representatives of the Bits & BĂ€ume board of trustees - Friederike Rohde (IÖW) and Hendrik Zimmermann (Germanwatch) - will discuss with political representatives what needs to happen now in order to implement climate-neutral digitalisation that also serves climate protection. In this context, we will also discuss the political demands of Bits & BĂ€ume 2022. Anke Domscheit-Berg, Maik Außendorf and Thomas Heilmann will be on the panel. The right questions will be asked by Geraldine de Bastion. The session will end with a short appeal by Tilman Santarius (ECDF/ TU Berlin), certainly inspiring to mobilise for a social and ecological transformation and sustainable digitalisation.
